One of InGens most successful mammals. The Hyaenodon are vicious and efficient killers. The Hyaenodon were discovered to be nocturnal hunters. Working separately, or together to bring down lager prey such as Iguanodon or Corythosaurus. Their powerful Jaws could chew through steel in a matter of minutes, as was discovered when one chewed through its transport cage and escaped into the jungle.

A night time security warden was killed by one of these animals as he walked from a watchtower to his jeep. A worker was also killed while working near their holding pen.
