InGen Lost Files Stripe by Jazon19 InGen Lost Files Stripe by Jazon19
Chalicotherium
Code Name: Stripe
Habitat: Outskirts of the Grasslands.
Diet: Assorted plantlife.
Length: 2m
Height: 2.6m (when on all fours)
Weight: 910 kg
Time period: Late Oligocene to Lower Pliocene, 16—7.75 mya

This gentle species of mammal is now a rare sight on Site B, living on the outskirts of the grasslands on trees and bushes. The Chalicotherium are popular meals for most carnivores on the island.

The "Stripes" were very docile in nature. One of the islands most gentle species of mammal. The keepers never had any problems with this species. They could be lead without restraint gear and enjoyed being groomed. However they are not very bright, and a keeper was almost injured by one when it sat down.

Hazard Level: Low.

when I designed these I tried to keep in mind that as it was cloning, Mr hammond would have wanted them as outstanding and awe inspiring as possible, even if that meant bending a few truths

That's the same logic that gave us the tiger-print raptors from The Lost World, that was kinda cool.

Made me think about this little incident with this one elephant and the cleaner of the cage. :O Poor man got his head stuck inside the elephant´s ass when it was sitting down...
