InGens Lost Files Hell Pig by Jazon19 InGens Lost Files Hell Pig by Jazon19
Entelodont
Code Name: Hell Pig
Diet: Anything. Rubbish, vegetation, mammals, reptiles and dinosaurs.
Habitat: Jungle, grasslands, riverbanks and often the old ingen buildings (feeding out of vending machines).
Length: 3 M
Height: 2.1 M at shoulder.
Weight: 421 kg
Time period: Middle Eocene to early Miocene 37.2—16.3 MYA

The Entelodonts of Isla Sorna are some of the most dangerous species of their size on the island. Foul tempered, always hungry, almost immune to pain and the size of a modern day rhino, these "Hell Pigs" as they were named wandered all over the island, feeding on anything they could find. The only animals these things were afraid of were the alpha theropods like the tyrannosaurs and the Spinosaur. They were observed bullying even the medium sized carnivores from their kills when in groups of 5 or 6.

Many keepers were injured by these creatures, jeeps overturned and gates smashed open. Robert Muldoon was quoted as saying they were "Just as bad as the bloody raptors.. maybe worse."

Hazard Level: Extremely Dangerous

ya know, I now wonder why hasn't InGen just go ahead and clone prehistoric mammals?

It is true that raptors would have a problem if they had to compete with these giant pigs.

But the raptors have what Entelodonts lack, which is intelligence.

Thats totally fair enough.
Thats why I imagined these pigs were active mostly around the old Ingen complexes, and  not in constant competition with the raptors :3

Hand grenades... and maybe a nuclear bomb or two... Velociraptor vs. Entelodont vs. that thing from Alien? All out fight! Btw, could raptors use a gun?? That would be cool to see.

Great work on this creature. He looks fantasic. Good thing none these creatures really exist in Jurassic park or the raptors could be in trouble.

An epic idea placing entelodonts in with InGen's already terrifying menagerie.

Hmm... I wonder what kinda entelodont this is. Daeodon, perhaps? Sure looks like it to me.

The red hide and gray stripes are a nice touch, though.

Yeah, I figured as much. May I suggest you include Habitiat in the profiles, btw? Just a thought.

Just thought I'd offer a suggestion is all. I mean, what's an animal profile without includin' what biome it lives in? I'm just sayin'.

not exactly. if there was one Entelodont, yes, but not a pack. They would have scared many predators from their prey when they were alive. I dont know if you have ever seen a wild boar killed, but it takes alot to take one down if you are not using a high powered rifle, so now mix that, with one the size of a rhino that ravels in groups. Even the raptors would have problems.

Knowing that they are the Jurassic Park Raptors, I can see them doing that. Normal Velociraptors not, but these guys can handle it.
Especially the Big One from Trespasser.

Ahh the "Utahraptor". And ill agree that V.raptor nublarensis would give it a try at least. They are psychopaths.

Yes, the "Utahraptor". Also know as the Alpha Raptor. By all we know it is just an Oversized Velociraptor nublarensis of the "C-Tribe" with Hammond stating that he does not know why it became that big. Probably a Mutation.
Ans yes, they are Psychos.
